We need to start loving the Hell out of people….literally.

There is so much hatred and negativity right now. I’m guilty of getting caught up in the social media comments and allowing the words to get me riled up. Words from people I do not know nor will most likely ever meet. Opinions and attitudes that I cannot control nor will probably change.
The one thing I can control: loving people. Loving people as I’ve been commanded by Jesus Himself. “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” – John 13:34.

The only words that should matter are the words in this book…God’s holy word. I’m honestly not surprised by what is going on the world because the Bible has made it pretty clear what is happening and what is to come. As much as I hate it, it will continue on because evil exists. It can only change if we allow Christ into our hearts.

We have a major heart issue. Whatever we allow in our hearts, then overflows into our homes and trickles into our communities. We need to LOVE people through the JOY of the Lord. There is pure joy that comes from the Lord….joy that I cannot explain! Joy that can only truly be explained through experience.

We love people and people will want to know that love. Show people the same grace and mercy that Christ has shown us. It’s quite simple. A lot could be changed if we just loved people. Loving someone does not mean you have to agree with them. It’s OK to have different beliefs. Just love people. We love people and our Churches will be overflowing.

Proverbs 10:12- “Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs”.

Let’s love the Hell out of people.
