Could you imagine what would happen if we were even half as vocal about our faith as we are politics?

I don’t think this country would be in the mess it is in if we were. Faith can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). Our country is not in shambles because of our leaders, we are in shambles because of what we have allowed into our homes; our hearts.

We have chosen mediocrity over morality. We are having debates on whether the sexuality of children should be allowed on our streaming devices. We allow toddlers to look and act like adults. We bat an eye to children being disrespectful. We would rather be our child’s friend than a parent. We have no problem listening to music that degrades humans. We think the fairy tale love story is 50 shades of grave sin. Should I continue?

Regardless of who wins the election, our country will remain in moral decay until we change our behavior. We are so quick to brag on our new relationships. Why are we so quiet about God’s love for us? Lives would be changed.

“In this is love, not that we have loved God but that HE loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for OUR sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” – I John 4:10-11
